VOLLEY FOR THE CURE
The Clay junior high and high school volleyball teams sponsored a "Volley for the Cure" match on October 1 with proceeds donated to the Geralyn White Memorial Scholarship Fund and the SOMC Cancer Center Compassion Fund.
Elementary students had a coloring contest to decorate the gymnasium and the winners are pictured with the volleyball team.
The Volley for the Cure activities at the volleyball match v. Western included a bake sale, serving to a spot game, a raffle for prizes, and split the pot ($600). Shirt sales raised $1,000.
Proceeds go to SOMC Compassion Fund and to the Geralyn White Memorial Scholarship Fund.
