Parents and guardians can access their student's grades, teacher notes, and class information using the ProgressBook Parental Access Site.
ProgressBook Parental Access Login
In an effort to keep parents informed of their child’s academic performance and to improve communication between the home and the school, the Clay Local School District is providing parents with accounts for online access to ProgressBook for students. ProgressBook is the electronic grading package used by our teachers to report grades. The parent module of ProgressBook gives you access to information about your child’s progress in class via this secure website. You will be able to view assignments and scores on graded assignments.
Letters containing login information was mailed to each home.
To access ProgressBook, you will need to have an active Internet connection and have a web browser open.
1. Go to http://www.clay.k12.oh.us
2. Click on PARENT at the top of the screen.
3. Click on ProgressBook Parent Access. The Parent Access Website will appear.
4. Click on Click Here to Log In.
5. Enter your Username and your Password. You will be prompted for your Username and Password. Later you will be able to change them to whatever you prefer. Both the Username and the Password are case-sensitive (capital and/or small letters), so please type them exactly as they appear. Click on the Login button after you’ve typed your Username and Password. You will notice four tabs in the upper-right corner of your screen —- Home, Student, Classroom and My Account. This indicates that you have successfully logged onto ProgressBook.
6. Edit My Profile: Update Your Contact Information. Please provide your email address. If you forget your Username and/or Password, a new one will be sent to the email address you provide here. Be sure to click on the SAVE button when you are finished typing.
7. Change My Login Name: Your Username can also be changed to something easier to remember. You can change your Username by clicking on the Change your Login Name link along the left side of the window. In Current Login Name, type the Username given to you by the school and type your current password into the password box. In the New Login Name box, type whatever you would like to use for your Login Name. Be sure to click on the SAVE button when you are finished typing.
8. Change My Password: The initial Password provided to you may be difficult to remember. You can change your Password by clicking on the Change Your Password to you in the Current Password box. Be sure to click on the SAVE button when you are finished typing.
9. Link My Accounts: Link All Children to One Account. If you have more than one child enrolled in grades K-12 in the Clay Local School District, you will want to link them all to one account. Click on the Link Additional Children to this Account link along the left side of the window. It will ask for the Login Name and Password of your other child(ren). Once you’ve typed this information, Click on the Link button.
10. View Your Child’s Attendance, Homework, and Progress: You can view your child’s attendance history, homework assignments, and progress report by clicking on the appropriate tabs listed under Student and Classroom.
