Evans Crowned Clay Homecoming Queen 2012
Abagale Evans was crowned Clay High School’s 2012 Homecoming Queen. The ceremony was held between the junior varsity and varsity games on Saturday, January 21, 2012, as the Clay Panthers took on the Redmen of Rock Hill. The theme for this year’s homecoming was “Queen of Hearts.”
Abby is the daughter of Chuck and Sherry Evans; Abby was escorted by Chandler King, son of Arnold and Brenda King, and Chase Hiles, son of Perry and Vonda Hiles.
Attending the queen as flower girl was Alyssa Mullins, daughter of Andrea King and Rob Mullins. The queen’s crown bearer was Jordan Mershon, son of Andrea King and Josh Mershon.
Katie Gregory, daughter of Robert and Mary Ann Gregory, served as senior attendant. Katie was escorted by Eli Kelley, son of Chris Kelley and Linda Davis.
Alisha Adams, daughter of Steve and Lisa Adams, served as senior vocational attendant. Alisha was escorted by Jared Ruby, son of Greg and Michelle Ruby.
Marissa Messer, daughter of Cindy and Jason Gearheart, served as junior attendant. Marissa was escorted by Taylor LaValley, son of Rick and Robin LaValley.
Anna Valentine, daughter of Jeff and Gail Valentine, served as junior vocational attendant. Anna was escorted by Tommy Martin, son of Sherman Martin and Traci Tomlin and grandson of Thomas and Unita Tomlin.
Katie Redding, daughter of John and Jane Redding, served as sophomore attendant. Katie was escorted by Eldin Sarajlic, son of Saro and Gina Sarajlic.
Mackenzie Whitley, daughter of Bryan Whitley and Missy and Scott Artis, served as freshmen attendant. Mackenzie was escorted by Levi Evans, son of Chuck and Sherry Evans.
The cheerleaders sponsored a dance after the game to honor the queen and her court. |
