Clay Students Participate in Scioto Co. Sing-off |

Chanan and Karleigh Move on to Finals
On Tuesday, November 29, 2011, Clay Local Schools kicked off the Scioto County Schools Sing Off at the Wheelersburg Southern Ohio National Gospel Stage. Participating in the event included Josh Bailey, Chanan Brown, Abbie Harris, Karleigh Murnahan, Lynlee Wells, and Angel Wiget. These students performed outstanding and we are extremely proud of them; however, only two students were chosen to move on the the finals, which will be held March 16th. Kareigh Murnahan and Chanan Brown were chosen to represent Clay in the finals and will compete with other schools for the opportunity to win a recording contract and an opportunity to sing at the Grand Ole' Opry. We wish the best of luck to Karleigh and Chanan and hope you come out on March 16th (Gospel Stage/Wheelersburg) to support the talent of Scioto County.
