Alaina Stowers will represent Clay High School as Miss Clay in the 2016 River Days' Pageant.

Pageant Bio and People's Choice Voting

Portsmouth Daily Times article

Hello, everyone! My name is Alaina Stowers and I am your 2016 Miss Clay. I am a seventeen-year-old junior at Clay High School. I am the daughter of Susan Runyon and Ryan Stowers and the granddaughter of Bill and Jeanne Runyon, Melanie Altiers, and Ingrid and Donnie Stowers. I also have a younger sister, Cassidy.  I am honored and thrilled to represent the Clay Panthers this year in the Miss River Days Pageant.

Upon completion of high school, I strive to attend Butler University and pursue a degree in Biology with a Pre-Medicine concentration.

I am a member of the Clay High School Student Council, National Honor Society, and the CHS varsity cheerleading squad.  I am a very driven person, and because of this, I have maintained a high GPA throughout high school. My mother has been my motivator from a very young age and instilled the values that shaped me into the young lady I am today.

In 2015, I attended the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership summit, HOBY for short, at Denison University. It was an experience like no other, and it allowed me to discover myself and my leadership abilities. I will never forget the friends and memories I made during my time there.

I enjoy hanging out with my friends, shopping, playing with my German Shepherd, Maddox, and reading.

Lastly, I want to thank you for reading my bio, and I cannot wait to meet all the beautiful ladies and share the summer with them. Go Panthers!
